about

In their fourth single release from their upcoming album, ‘OddFellows’, the now-FOUR-man line-up of Information Society: Paul Robb, Kurt Larson, James Cassidy and visualist Zeke "Falcotronik" Prebluda are dropping a vintage-style pop-music glitter-bomb into the world. Sparkling with synthy goodness, this track hearkens back to the band’s '80s pop roots, putting them in the same stream of recent stellar releases from synth bands like Ultravox, Human League and OMD. Like so many of InSoc’s songs, this one tells the eternal and universal story of meeting, loving, and separating. (One might begin to suspect that these guys have tragic love-lives.) But what’s this? Portuguese lyrics at the end of the song?? Not surprising, considering the band’s life-long connection with Brasil!
