Bennington

about

Information Society present “Bennington”, an InSoc-ified cover of a beautiful John Maus track… reworked as an homage to InSoc’s Minneapolis hometown Uptown neighborhood. When the members of InSoc were in their twenties, they spent their time on or around Hennepin Ave in Minneapolis, so reworking Bennington to Hennepin just seemed to fit nicely. Also, "Bennington" has a nice association with the small town in southern Minnesota of the same name. “Bennington” was recorded in November, 2018 at Paul’s Think Tank Studio. Also, crows. Because crows.
